AN APPROXIMATE ALGORITHM OF PETRI NETS WITH DETERMINISTIC TRANSITION FIRING TIMES

This paper gives an approximate analysis algorithm on DSPN. It transfers the DSPN models into their approximate GSPN models with arbitrary small error. The approximate GSPN model is isomorphous to continuous-time Markov chains. A high speed local area network DSPN model is given in this paper and its indices are estimated using the approximate GSPN model algorithm. Examples are given in this paper to show its applications and to compare the approximate GSPN model algorithm with others.
