Frequency-Transmission Characteristics of Screening Image and the Setting of Scanning Resolution

s: Via some AM and FM screening experiments of a digital test image, their frequency transmission characteristics under different recording resolution and screening frequency is analyzed and it is pointed out that the maximum transformation frequency of a screening image is one half of the recording resolution. According to this, the author explored the question of scanning resolution and reasoned that a higher scanning resolution is beneficial for the original image with fine details.
