This paper introduces the Golden Shield Project (GSP), as well as the relationship between GSP and the Intelligent Transportation (ITS) from the viewpoint of the management of public security science and technology. And what's more, in the light of specific conditions of the work of public security science and technology, views of constructing ITS in China is clarified. In advance, the developing direction and the overall thought about the construction of the Intelligent Transportation Management System (ITMS) are raised.
