Nowadays the technology of Case-based reasoning(CBR)is considered as a promising method in the artificial intelligence and expert system.In this paper the primary principle,work process and the main technologies are elaborated.The current situation and advance in the research and application are also introduced.Finally the development trend of CBR is summarized.
