Research on Fault Diagnosis Method Based on Local Wave Method-Rough Sets Theory-NN

A new fault diagnosis system model based on local wave method-rough sets theory-NN was presented. The diagnosis model firstly made feature extraction with local wave method,and then attributed reduction and value reduction using rough sets theory and obtained the optimum decision system, and finally according to the optimum decision system constructed RBF neural network. The proposed method was tested on diesel engine piston-liner wear estimation. The results show that the developed approach is effective.
