Routing Protocols of Wireless Ad Hoc Networks

Jiandong Li · ZTE communications · 2007

Wireless Ad hoc network is a complicated communication system, and its routing technology is one of the most popular and active research topics. Efficient routing protocol enables wireless networks to be more flexibly organized, improving network performance and decreasing overheads. Combining novel technologies at the physical layer, such as Cognitive Radio (CR), Cooperative Communication (CC), and Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO), can hugely enhance the performance of Ad hoc routing protocols.
