Abstract MIB View and Its Usage in the Intergreted Network Management

Because device vendors allways define properial MIBs to extend the managing function in the multivendor network, the intergreted network mangement of which must deal with the difference of vendorspecific MIBs. This paper proposed a methodabstract MIB viewfor it. This paper discribed its principle, a kind of implementation in SNMP, and its using in a multivendor ATM network intergred management.
