The Application of Wavelet Analysis in Fault Monitor and Diagnosis

The properties of wavelet transform in dyadic scales are studied. The principle that the module maximum value of wavelet transform of signal stands for the singularities of signal is discussed. Finally, this method is applied to an engineering example and the results are also given in this paper.
