Improved Clustering Algorithm Applied to the Network Management of MANET

Being a new mobile wireless network, the unique properties of Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) add the difficulties to the network management. Especially, the node mobility brings the challenge to the efficient topology management. According to the deficiencies of the geographical clustering algorithm, such as assuming the GPS service, the node density adjustment resulting in clustering un-measuring up to the restriction, the guest protocol ignoring the management efficiency and so on, an improved clustering algorithm applied to the network management has been proposed. It suggests a new idea to the network management.
