This paper proposes an exponential behavior based entropy operafor for3D edge detection.The surface point can be located by the entrOPy of a iceal windowand the orientation of the surface can be decided by the coordinates of the eentroidof the window.A related fast algorithm is presented. The experimental reeedtererjfy that the method is efficient for 3D medieal images.
