Group Leader Election Algorithm for Agent Groups Based Distributed Network Management

It is a dynamic distributed paradigm that network management is based on agent groups. In an agent group, group leader is the most important node and group leader election is pivotal problem of dynamic group management. To illustrate leader election,a partial synchronous system molel is presented for describing agent group. Based on the model,a 3-phase fault-tolerant leader election algorthm is put forward,which is efficient and tolerates crashed agents and lossy links. fault-tolerant trend. To meet election trigger,the heartbeat failure detector is implemented and several crucial parameters are discussed.
