Fractal Image Compression Coding Based on PSO

For the basic method of fractal image coding time costed long and improve the problem of adaptive IFS image compression coding method of the adaptive capacity,in the human visual contrast sensitivity in accordance with the basis of classification,a model of predator-prey system from the birds of the particle swarm optimization(PSO) of the IFS fractal image compression coding of the new adaptive algorithm is presented.This adaptive image coding algorithm using the self-similarity,as well as the application of PSO in the process of fractal coding partial iterated function system(PIFS) search parameters.Matlab6.0 experiment through simulation results show that this method effectively reduced the search space and speeded up the coding speed.Based on the visual characteristics of the particle swarm algorithm for fractal coding is superior to conventional fractal block coding algorithm.
