An improved algorithm based on SUSAN fast hierarchical corner detection

Considering the defect of traditional fast hierarchical corner detection algorithm based on SUSAN algorithm,an improved algorithm to discriminant the corner quality is proposed in this paper.The rough positions of corners are quickly de- termined through fast hierarchical corner detection algorithm,then the amount of corners are reduced by the corner quality discriminant algorithm.Finally,the exact positions of corners are fixed through precise search.The experimental results show that the speed of operation is greatly improved by this method,lots of time is saved,and the effect of the corners matching is better.
