Study of horizontal navigation and control for mini remotely piloted vehicles

Based on characteristics and many navigation methods for mini remotely piloted vehicles(RPV), a method of GPS/DR(dead reckoning) integrated navigation system for horizontal navigation and control is studied. The design of navigation control law on same mini RPV is presented. The simulation results demonstrate that by the method the navigation system is simple and cheap, the calculation time is reduced, and the precision is increased, so the method is very practical.
