Development of a New Interactive WebGIS for Water and Rainfall Regime

According to characteristics of real-time hydrological monitoring,B/S platform is established by WebGIS technology and application of Google maps,relying on the database of automatic system for water and rainfall regime information acquisition and transmission of Beijiang River.The system functions include real-time dynamic monitoring,inquiry and publication of water and rainfall regime information as well as user defined generation of interactive dynamic statements.The system can improve working efficiency and scientific nature of work of hydrology and flood control departments,promote the information explosion trend in hydrology and expand application fields of WebGIS.
