The Effect of Charging Current on Inductance Measurement

This paper introduces the method to measure the inductance value by charging or discharging the inductor,and analyzes the influence of measured value by different charging current.It also analyzes the produced cause and represented information of the waveform of various part revealed by oscilloscope.A test circuit is designed to find out signal which can reflect the inductance value in voltage waveform,then send it to microcontroller to measure it.This method can measure small inductance value of air-core inductor.By analyzing the voltage and current waveform and the different charging current data,it proves that the larger current is good for measuring inductance value.
