A New Prediction Algorithm for MPEG VBR Traffic

According to the characteristics of MPEG VBR traffic,a new network traffic prediction model is made in which Kalman Filter and wavelet is mixed,based on a novel network MPEG VBR traffic allocation algorithm is presented,and is simulated in NS.The results shows that the bandwidth allocation algorithm can not only avoid traffic congestion,but also obviously improve bandwidth using rate,give better real-time processing and QOS.
