Metro Ethernet Virtual Private Line Services

With the development of data services, the operators are interested in new metro data services that can make more profit for them. The traditional DDN application in the metro network is analyzed and the new service Ethernet Virtual Private Line(EVPL) is analyzed. The paper shows that VPL can take the place of DDN in metro networks and EVPL can be new service mode for the operators.
