Research of task execution time based on host load

In the grid computing,the prediction of the dynamic change of network node performance and the implementation of the grid task is one of the most important factors,which decides whether the efficient scheduling of grid task will be successful.In this dissertation,the authors studied and analyzed an algorithm predicting the execution time of task by the linear relationship between host load and the execution time of task.Then the authors simulated the prediction algorithm about the task execution time,validated the reliability of the execution time prediction of the task based on host load,and evaluated its prediction precision.
