Because of the simple principle, fastness and high precision, the light section method to measure the 3D shape of objects has the wide applications The paper discusses the broken line problem of light knife which occurs in the light section method, and proposes a novel method to solve the problem, which includes the self adaptive threshold method for light knife center acquiring and the 1D/2D data mending technique Simultaneously the new method can eliminate the noise effect The experiment proves that method proposed here has good performance
