Frequency Hopping Signal Sorting Based on Blind Source Separation

Wenyong Wang · Journal of China Academy of Electronics and Information Technology · 2008

It has a great future to apply blind source separation to frequency-hopping signal sorting, but the application is limited by some factors such as noise, the difference of signal level and relative bandwidth.Firstly, the feasibility of applying blind source separation to frequency-hopping signal sorting is validated through experiments. Then, how those factors affect the separation is analyzed. Finally, the theoretic analysis is validated through numerical simulation. The conditions are also given where the signal-noise ratio, signal level difference and relative bandwidth must satisfy to meet a required performance.
