An Improved Demodulation and Decoding Program for LDPC Coded Modulation Systems

At present,in bit-inerleaved coded modulation and iterative decoding(BICM-ID),decoding is often conducted through the iteration of the soft information from the decoder of the receiving end,which is fed back to the demodulator as priori information.This scheme tends to lead the reduction of the minimum codeword Euclidean distance,resulting in the degradation in the performance of the system at non-Gaussian fading channel.To improve the situation,this paper presented an improved iterative demodulation and decoding program.The simulation analysis shows that the program can improve the decoding performance of LDPC coded BICM-ID system without changing the complexity of the system.
