To take Word documents as quantitative data format transfer

Objective The quantitative data was transformed by Word documents form preserved.Methods Each Word documents was merged and saved to the txt file.Then,using a programme,it was read to the data table for statistical analysis.Results After data conversion,the database and management procedure that matched the study purpose were established.That would facilitate researchers to check and consult,and interchange the data with statistical software packages.Conclusion At the beginning of the statistical design,the manner that the computer data processing used should be considered.The document that preserved by Word form could not be used for quantitative data.The established data sets and management procedures were the effective methods to ensure the quality of statistical data and improve management efficiency.
