The Centrosymmetric Solutions of General Inverse Eigenvalue Problem AX=BXΛ and Its Optimal Approximation

The general inverse eigenvalue problem AX=BXΛ with centrosymmetric solution is verified, and the general form of such solutions is given. In addition, for the solution set of corresponding problem, the expression of the optimal approximation solution to a given matrix is derived, and a numerical algorithm as well as a numerical example for solving optimal approximation solution are included.
