Research on Fast Algorithm of Scalar Multiplication in Elliptic Curve Cryptography

This paper analyses the fast scalar multiplication algorithm in elliptic curve cryptography and presents a new improving formula for NAF window algorithm.An analysis of the improving formula was made.The results show that the improvement can reduce the numbers of the w-NAF windows effectively and improve the efficiency of the w-NAF algorithm.
