FID technology plays a significant role in the transparent managing and the tracing of food security in food supply chain.The basic knowledge of RFID technology and its application in the chains of food security management are introduced,the significance of RFID technology in food security management and the obstacles to its application in food security management are discussed.The prospects of the RFID technology are also put forward.It finally points out that RFID technology can achieve information sharing and better monitoring.
