Switching off Loadless Transformer Over-voltage and Its Restriction Measures

Taking voltage-down transformer loadless control switch as an example, analysis was made on when loadless transformer was being switched off the principle and process of over-voltage taking place, giving out relevant parameters’ calculation formula. Introduction was made on several measures to restrict switching off loadless transformer over-voltage, amongst main measures are to adopt improved technological structure of transformer, to reduce Zf characteristic resistance value; to adopt RC resistance capacity absorbing device; parallel zinc oxide arrestor MOA etc. It should be synthetically taken into consideration according to system’s neutral grounding method, relay protection and prevent thunder requirements etc.
