Simple Proof That a Committed Number Is in a Specific Interval

A buyer wishes to show she has enough money in her account without revealing her money to buy some commodities.Therefore,a tool is needed for proving that a committed number is in a specific interval.Up to now,most of such tools were either inefficient or inexact.In this paper,we present a new simple protocol,which is exact and more efficient than the previous ones.The protocol is suited to be used in electronic cash,group signatures,publicly verifiable secret encryption,etc.
