Mutual blocking probabilities between various calls in ATM networks

This paper studied the using manner of CAC. When the network traffic is heavy and even near to the system capacity, directly and simply using the CAC, it will emerge the phenomenon of unbalance that the narrow band calls block the broad band calls accessing into the network. The paper analyzes the accessing probabilities of various services, the blocking probabilities between the wide band service calls and the narrow band service calls in multi-services networks under the traffic approaching to the system capacity. Upon these analyses, taking a new manner to use the CAC according to the states of the call accessing, so it realizes the balancing accessing machinery to guarantee all the services calls accessing into the network fairly.
