Jacobi matrix inverse eigenvalue problems have great applications in structural design, system identification, engineering design and vibration project. In this paper, an inverse eigenvalue problem of constructing a Jacobi matrix from its mixedtype eigenpairs is considered. The necessary and sufficient condi- tions for the existence and uniqueness of the unique solution are derived.
