Research on the Storage Model for MML-based Electronic Medical Record

MML is a set of markup language,which is used by different medical information systems as data exchanging standard.In this research,issues arising with the design and implementation of a DB to support efficient retrieval from MML documents.Both an object-relational approach and a traditional relational approach are explored and compared in terms of design,implementation issues and efficiency.
