A Reconstruction Process of Legacy Software Systems

In this paper, the concepts of legacy software are introduced and the development models of legacy software in common use presented. Then we present the main problems to be solved in the development of legacy software, and introduce the method of cluster analysis to understand programs. Finally, how to reconstruct legacy software systems based on program comprehension is described.
