Three Dimensional Visualization Modeling of Groundwater Simulation Based on VTK

This paper presented a method of three-dimensional visualization of groundwater numeral simulation model,including the in-struction of visualization model and data processing.By using the data computed by MODFLOW which was published by U.S.Geological Survey and the spatial data of the model,three types of objects including the datasets of vtkStructuredGrid,vtkUnstructuredGrid and vtkPolyData,and VTK pipeline were built.Taking the visualization system for the Xiaonanhai Spring Catchment as an example,the graph-ics were interacted in the way of contours producing,threshold filtering and clipping.
