Analysis of Causes and Solution for Erroneous and Omissive Assessment of Bearing Abnormal Noise

The root cause of theoretically erroneous and omissive assessment of bearing mute level is analyzed based on RMS and peak value prescribed in JB/T 10187—2000 and JB/T 7047—2006,and such erroneous and omissive assessment can be effectively avoided by adopting crest factor or the difference between the peak value and the RMS.
