Fuzzy PI Control of Self-Shunting Excitation Systems Based on Simulink

The paper describes in detail steps and method of simulation of a generator's self-shunting excitation system with Simulink and fuzzy control cabinets. Simulation results show that fuzzy PI control, which is a combination of fuzzy control and proportional integration control, exhibits an effect superior to that of traditional single PI control.
