Design and Implementation of Direct Digital Frequency Synthesizer Based on FPGA
Pan Lian · 2009
This design makes use of the FPGA chip to accomplish the core part of the direct-digital-frequency synthesizer(DDS) system circuits, adopts the hardware description language(VHDL) to complete the design of each moldule that constitutes the core circuits, and designs the periphery hardware circuits which corresponds to the DDS system. This kind of design can also make use of the reference clock signal with 8 MHz to synthesize a frequency in the 0-500 KHz of the sine or the cosine wave.Because of the Field Programmable characteristics, the DDS can fulfill a flexible improvement according to the different requests. It also has other characteristics, such as high-integration,quick function speed and low power cost.
