Effect and Calibration of Mutual Coupling Among Sensors in Direction-finding

Min Lin · Journal of PLA University of Science and Technology · 2002

Based on subspace principle, the paper provides a calibration approach for mutual coupling among sensors of uniformly spaced linear arrays and circular arrays, which are widely used in superresolution direction finding. The benefit of this new method is that only one calibration signal is needed, whose angle may be unknown. The computer simulation results demonstrate that this approach is correct and effective.
