Aim Study an algorithm of feature extraction for weld seam image matching in stereo vision. Methods Several methods of feature extraction are introduced according to the features of DR weld seam images. Results The edge features can be quickly found. Conclusion A method fited to edge feature extraction of DR weld seam image maching in stereo vision is chosen.
