A Survey on Network Calculus

Wang Jian-xin · Microelectronics & Computer · 2004

s: Network calculus is the application of min-plus algebra in network analysis. Network calculus is primarily used to dispose the flow problem in networks, and it can be used for flow problem modeling and quantitative analysis of flow problem. Network calculus is widely applied in the analysis of flow control protocol, the analysis of scheduler, and the analysis of QoS control. In this paper, the basic principles and important conclusions of network calculus were summarized.
