N1 + in/on + N2 + location wordformat is in accord withReference-Targetconstruction in cognitive linguistics. In type, N1is the target, N2is thereference objection, the reason why students made mistake is that they reversed positions ofN1and N2.In addition, among the reference-targetconstruction,some are central members, some are peripheral members of type, and interior is not homogeneous.
