Web-based Management Model of Embedded System

A Web based device management model was presented based on embedded Internet technology and Web management technology for embedded system with limited computing resource. It resolved the proprietary, complexity, user friendly and networked issues of traditional management models. It was integrated with three technologies: well known Web Browser Server technology as its framework, SNMP Manager Agent technology as its management mode, and Java technology for its cross platform. It provided a user friendly, cross platform, open and ubiquitous method to monitor embedded system for administrators anywhere and anytime. The components of managing system and managed system were designed respectively.
