GIS System Structure Based on Web Services Technology

Internet and Services are the trend for GIS. Recently, more and more work is about the Web Services technology, which is a new distribution computer technology based on object and module. This paper focuses on the study on Web Services technology used in GIS, analyses the key technologies, which include the system structure, data model. This paper also gives a GIS data management model based on the Web Services technology. And finally this paper points out the future development of the Web Services in GIS.
