Medium access control(MAC) protocol is one of the key protocols for wireless sensor networks and has a significant effect on the function and performance of wireless sensor networks.Based on the problem of the clustered TDMA protocol, this paper presents a dynamic and energy-efficient MAC protcocl for wireless sensor networks(DE-MAC).DE-MAC dynamically assigns the time-slot of nodes according to the number of cluster member and traffic load, and reduces the idle listening. The simulation results show that this protocol improves channel utility and the network energy usability.
