General Performance Control Method Based on Policy

【Abstract】Performance control function associates the variance of network performance with the variance of network configuration. This paper presents a policy based general performance control method. The performance control policy model is defined according to the DEN-ng model framework, and the policy conflicts are detected and resolved within a network element. The results of the experiment indicate that the performance control system can adjust the network configuration dynamically to improve the network performance on the trigger of the performance event according to the performance control policy.
