On the Research and Analysis of the Main Problem of PKI

As a network security infrastructure,more and more people have paid attention to PKI. But there are still a lot of deficiencies with PKI. This paper first introduces the definition and properties of trust,pointing out the inherent flaws of PKI. Then,the paper points out the disadvantage that held by most system based on PKI and the shortcomings of the current standard X.509,PGP and SPKI/SDSI. Finally,the paper indicates the problem of the browser. In a word,more research should be made on PKI.
