On the Generation of Chinese Flip-Flop——from the Theory of VP Shell

The flip-flop construction is a particular sentence pattern in Chinese.Within the framework of generative grammar,the generation of different flip-flop constructions can be analyzed uniformly with the theory of VP shell,that is,a light verb exists in each flip-flop construction and the strong affixal feature of it will attract the structure below,which give rise to this particular construction.
