The Research of Printed Mongolian Character Recognition

An analysis of the structural feature of Mongolia characters and the principle of printed mongolian optical character recognition(OCR) are given.A series of methods of pretreatment, feature extraction and pattern classification are presented,and these methods have been successfully used in the design of mongolian character recognition software and have been proved to be feasible and efficient.
