Review on seismic design of nuclear power project(II)

With regard to some problems worth considering in seismic design of nuclear power project,some opinions are proposed,including seismic applicability of plant foundation,especially dynamic foundation-structure interaction on complex non-homogeneous foundation;seismic response combination of structure under three direction earthquake;hydrodynamics problems happened in spent fuel pool,reactor,in which solid-fluid coupling effect exists,and the problems are further discussed from the following categories: common liquid container,elevated supporting liquid container,considering ground rotation and vertical earthquake;seismic design of subsystem of plant,especially the floor response spectrum influenced by uncertainty of parameters of material and foundation.The above issues could be referred by researchers and engineers involved in seismic design of nuclear power plant.
