An XML-based Agent Communication Framework

Agent communication, as one of the core activities in multi-agent systems, is the basis for agent coordination, cooperation, competition, and task-performing. Agent communication languages provide a high-level, flexible and general model for agent communication. Based on KQML and FIPA-ACL, we present an approach of universal agent communication language. An XML-based agent communication framework is also discussed in detail with illustration of an example.
