Recently, conversion and integration treatment of heterogeneous data is becoming more important in enterprise application integration. The approach of data conversion and sharing of heterogeneous database are very important parts.Comparing with other data conversion models,a data conversion model was proposed using xml file as transportation media, named DCMHD(Data Conversion Model of Heterogeneous Database).By model-defined data types, data conversion among databases can be simplified to data conversion between database with system-defined data types, which improves apparently system's stability and extensibility.Through XML as trans-port media,it is easy to implement data transport and sharing. At last, some codes of the model were taken out.
